# Expense Report
This section provides visual insights into reimbursement data through various charts and graphs, allowing users to analyze spending patterns across multiple dimensions.
The permission to view the report is set in the Statistic module > Report Management > Advance settings > View permission
## 1 Monthly Expense Trend
The **Line Chart** provides a visual representation of total monthly spending for the current year. It allows users to track, analyze, and compare expense trends over time.
**Remark:**
* Displays a "No data" message if no data source is available for this report.
### 1.1 Data Representation
* Each data point on the chart represents the total spending for a specific month.
* The x-axis displays the months (January through December).
* The y-axis displays the total spending amount of the system's default currency.
* The chart is based on submitted expense entries.
### 1.2 Details
Click on the data point to view the exact spending amount for that month.
### **1.3 Export**
The chart can be exported as an image for reporting purposes.
## 2 User Spending Ratio
This chart provides a visual representation of total reimbursement amounts categorized by user. Each segment of the pie represents a user's share of the total expenses within the selected time frame.
**Remark:**
The user can view the exact amount and percentage for a user by hovering over the respective part.
### 2.1 Details
Click on the specific section to open a detailed view of expenses by user.
### **2.2 Filter**
Allows the user to filter the data by time period.
* **All**: Shows all-time data.
* **This Year**: Data for the current calendar year.
* **Last Year**: Data for the previous calendar year.
* **This Month**: Data for the current month.
* **Last Month**: Data for the previous month.
### **2.3 Export**
Chart can be exported to image.
## 3 Department Spending Ratio
Displays reimbursement amounts distributed across departments. Each segment corresponds to a department's spending ratio for the selected period.
**Remark:**
Hover to view exact figures and percentages for each department.
### 3.1 Details
Click on the specific section to open a detailed view of expenses by department.
### 3.2 Filter
Allows the user to filter the data by time period, default **This Month**.
* **All**: Shows all-time data.
* **This Year**: Data for the current calendar year.
* **Last Year**: Data for the previous calendar year.
* **This Month**: Data for the current month.
* **Last Month**: Data for the previous month.
### 3.3 Export
Chart can be exported to image.
## 4 Project Spending Ratio
A pie chart summarizing expenses attributed to various projects, showing their proportion relative to total reimbursements.
**Remark:**
The user can view the exact amount and percentage for a project by hovering over the respective part.
### 4.1 Details

### 4.2 Filter
Allows the user to filter the data by time period, default **This Month**.
* **All**: Shows all-time data.
* **This Year**: Data for the current calendar year.

* **Last Month**: Data for the previous month.
### 4.3 Export

## 5 Category Spending Ratio
Provides an overview of expenses grouped by reimbursement categories. Each segment of the pie represents an expense category's contribution to the total reimbursement amount.
**Remark:**
The user can view the exact amount and percentage for a category by hovering over the respective part.
### 5.1 Details
Click on the specific section to open a detailed view of expenses by category.
### 5.2 Filter
Allows the user to filter the data by time period, default this month
* **All**: Shows all-time data.
* **This Year**: Data for the current calendar year.
* **Last Year**: Data for the previous calendar year.
* **This Month**: Data for the current month.
* **Last Month**: Data for the previous month.
### 5.3 Export
Chart can be exported to image.
## 6 Expense Beneficiary Department Statistics by Category
A bar chart that breaks down reimbursement amounts by beneficiary department and further classifies them by expense category.
Remark:
* Hover over a bar segment to view details like department name, category, and amount.
### 6.1 Details
Click on the specific section to open a detailed view of expenses by department.
### 6.2 Filter
Allows the user to filter the data by time period, default this month
* **All**: Shows all-time data.
* **This Year**: Data for the current calendar year.
* **Last Year**: Data for the previous calendar year.

* **Last Month**: Data for the previous month.
### 6.3 Export

## 7 Annual Expense statistics
A histogram displaying the total reimbursement amounts for the year, segmented by quarter. Each quarter is represented by a distinct color to easily differentiate spending trends.
**Remark:**
Hover over a bar to see exact figures for the quarter.
### 7.1 Data Representation
* Each quarter uses a different color for quick visual identification.
### 7.2 Details
Click on the specific section to open a detailed view of all expense entries of the year.
### 7.3 Export
